After a successful first full academic year out of lockdown TADAA is going from strength to strength and we are so excited to get back to classes in September. We will be welcoming some new faces on the team in September as we say goodbye to Nikki who is off on maternity leave and earlier in the year said goodbye to Katie who was whisked off to London to work for a top London talent agency. We wish you both love and luck and cannot wait to hear all the news (and have baby cuddles!). We therefore welcome our new teachers Jess, Cara and Katie B to the team who will be taking over some of our musical theatre, ballet and popstars dance classes.
In other news, TADAA has been busy working in schools, nurseries and hospitals this year and as such we have secured new contracts at Westbourne Primary School, Bidbury Junior School and Kingscourt School teaching musical theatre, street dance and LAMDA.
Our LAMDA private tuition classes have been very busy with all of our students recently taking LAMDA exams and all of them passing with Distinction – we are so proud of their hard work and dedication. We have a couple of early evening slots available for private LAMDA tuition if anyone is interested.
Our singing lesson students have also gone from strength to strength with 2 new days added to the timetable and 3 qualified teachers being able to provide lessons for students. We have a few slots available if interested.
TADAA has recently been given the wonderful news that we have been accepted into National Theatre Connections 2023 which is the National Theatre’s nationwide youth theatre festival. Each year it offers a unique opportunity for youth theatres and school theatre groups to stage new plays written for young people by some of theatre’s most exciting playwrights, and to perform in leading theatres across the UK. Watch this space for more information.
Some of TADAA’s senior students will be performing at The New Theatre Royal in September as part of the show “The Moment You’ve Been Waiting For” as we were asked to provide a group of musical theatre students for the show – they will be performing three numbers.
We have also been busy with workshops including; Descendants, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Dance it out to Disney, Disney Tots, Sing it out to Disney, Harry Potter, National Theatre Acting Workshop, TV Studio and Green Screen workshop and Sing 2! Our TADAA Theatre Company Students have been receiving weekly professional workshops in many genres including; Acting through song, Harmony and Vocals, Accents & Dialects, Commercial Dance, Stage Combat, Monologues, Ballet and Contemporary Dance, Cruise Ship Style Dance Auditions, Mock Auditions, Ensemble Singing and Acting as an Ensemble. They finished their season with a showcase to parents.
We cannot wait to bring you more news in September….
