TADAA
is a Hampshire drama academy that offers young people the opportunity to express
themselves and develop their performance and drama skills in a workshop environment.
Classes
are available for all ages every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday in Waterlooville
Community Centre, so if you live in areas like Havant, Cosham, Horndean or Portsmouth
why not try joining our drama classes now.
As
well as weekly drama classes, students attending the performance class at the
drama academy will have the opportunity to present their work at Festivals in
Hampshire.
TADAA is more than just a drama club!

TADAA workshops involve vocal and speech training, movement exercises
to improve
body awareness, improvisation and role-play, devised and
scripted work and
the opportunity to learn about and explore a huge range
of drama styles and
techniques. Mask and make-up masterclasses are also
included as part of the TADAA curriculum.
The
workshops are delivered by the principal, Ms Rose, who is an experienced fully
qualified drama teacher and Head of Drama at a school in West Sussex.
Amongst
other succesful school-based musicals, shows and perfomances, Ms Rose won the
Rock Challenge Open Division Southern Grand Final in 2006. Having acheived
this she directed, choreographed and produced the Premiership Southern Grand Final
winning piece 'Speed of Light' in 2007. This involved leading the 100 strong cast
to victory in this nationwide competition.
